Groups Promoting Inexpensive Trusts in Canada and the U.S.

While PILL (Prosper League International Limited) has been in business for a number of years and are believed to be acting lawfully, we do have a concern with groups that are promoting the PILL trust in a marketing panel. These panels have a team captain who collects $1,000U.S. from new participants (usually 8) entering at the entry level who are then to receive a PILL trust information package or other product.

It is important to note that trusts do serve a useful purpose for estate planning or asset protection but the manner in which some groups are marketing such structures should be carefully considered before becoming involved.

It should be fully understood that these pyramid structures will eventually collapse as they rely on huge numbers of new participants entering the program to keep it going. By the time these panels split 22 times, more than all the people in Canada (more than 31 million) would have to be involved to keep it going. By 25 splits (or generations) more than all the people who live in the United States would have to be participating.

Warning:

These panels will collapse, sooner rather than later, leaving the large majority of those who were enticed into the program with little hope of making a profit.

Before getting involved in any such scheme, it is essential to understand the above and to check with an attorney for a legal opinion.
