Tax Havens of the World 1996/97 by Thomas Azzara This 318 page book covers the U.S. Internal Revenue Codes that affect Americans investing offshore and foreigners investing in the continental U.S. or it's territories. A complete discussion of strategies and legal changes to the tax code designed to keep investors up-to-date. He also discusses how tax code amendments have necessitated a change in investment tactics. More than 25 of the well known offshore centers are discussed. Tom has an obvious bias toward the Bahamas when comparing it to other jurisdictions and a number of inaccuracies were found. |

The Offshore Money Book by Arnie Cornez Finally a book that doesn't cost an arm and a leg that covers the majority of topics of interest to the offshore investor and entrepreneur. Written for Americans, this book has information useful to any investor interested in global investment and asset protection. Rates some of the popular offshore centers as well. Although Arnie is based in the Bahamas, a bias is not obvious in his comparison of other jurisdictions. |
